Vermont's Historic State House

The Vermont Coat of Arms
The Coat of Arms of the State of Vermont includes many symbols of the state's agricultural heritage and natural beauty. Ethan Allen's brother Ira composed the central symbols for the state seal -- the cow, three sheaves of wheat, and the pine tree.
