(b) A foreign limited liability company whose registration is effective may renew it for successive years by delivering for filing in the office of the secretary of state a renewal application complying with subsection (a) of this section between October 1 and December 31 of the preceding year. The renewal application renews the registration for the following calendar year.
(c) A foreign limited liability company whose registration is effective may thereafter qualify as a foreign company under its company name or consent in writing to the use of its name by a limited liability company thereafter organized under this chapter or by another foreign company thereafter authorized to transact business in this state.
