At eleven o'clock and thirty minutes in the forenoon the Speaker called the House to order.

Devotional Exercises

Devotional exercises were conducted by Speaker Gaye Symington of Jericho.

House Bill Introduced

Rep. Haas of Rochester  introduced a bill, entitled

An act relating to prohibiting the feeding of moose;

Which was read the first time and referred to the committee on Fish, Wildlife and Water Resources.

     The following committee bills were read the first time and, under the rule, placed on the Calendar for notice tomorrow.

Rep. Sweaney of Windsor, for the committee on Government Operations, introduced a bill, entitled

An act relating to miscellaneous amendments to Vermont’s Public Retirement Systems;

Rep. Ancel of Calais, for the committee on Education, introduced a bill, entitled

An act relating to ensuring quality in prekindergarten education programs offered by or through school districts;
