At eleven o'clock and ten minutes in the forenoon the Speaker called the House to order.

Committee Bills Introduced

Committee bills of the following titles were read the first time and, under the rule, placed on the Calendar for notice tomorrow.

Rep. Obuchowski of Rockingham, for the committee on Ways and Means, introduced a bill, entitled

An act relating to miscellaneous substantive tax amendments;

H. 522

Rep. Zuckerman of Burlington, for the committee on Agriculture, introduced a bill, entitled

An act relating to the viability of Vermont agriculture.

Bills Referred to Committee on Appropriations

House bills of the following titles, appearing on the Calendar, carrying appropriations, under the rule, were referred to the committee on Appropriations:

House bill, entitled

An act relating to potable water supply and wastewater system permitting;

House bill, entitled

An act relating to a legislative interim study committee on public libraries;

Adjournment

At eleven o’clock and fifteen minutes in the forenoon, the Speaker  adjourned the House until tomorrow at ten o’clock in the forenoon pursuant to Rule 9.
