AN ACT RELATING TO ESTABLISHING THE TOWN LINE BETWEEN BAKERSFIELD AND FAIRFIELD
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. TOWN LINES; TOWNS OF BAKERSFIELD AND FAIRFIELD;
(a) The general assembly finds that it may establish town lines under Chapter II, § 6 of the Constitution of the State of Vermont.
(b) The towns of Bakersfield and Fairfield, by and through their respective selectboards, have petitioned the general assembly to determine the boundary line between these two towns as set forth in survey No. 06003, conducted by Cross Consulting Engineers, a licensed land surveyor, dated May 23, 2006.
(c) By this act, the general assembly ratifies the existence of the boundary line between the towns of Bakersfield and Fairfield as set forth in survey

Sec. 2. APPLICATON
Upon passage of this act, the selectboards of the towns of Bakersfield and Fairfield shall comply with the provisions of subsection 1461(c) of Title 24.
Sec. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This act shall take effect upon passage.
