Subject: Motor vehicles; registration; pleasure cars; state check; reduced fee
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to reduce by $25.00 and $40.00, respectively, the annual and biennial fee for registering a vehicle at the pleasure car rate if payment is made with a state-issued check.
AN ACT RELATING TO A REDUCTION OF THE REGISTRATION FEE WHEN PAYMENT IS MADE WITH A STATE CHECK
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. 23 V.S.A. § 361 is amended to read:
§ 361. PLEASURE CARS

provided in subsection (b) of this section, the annual fee for registration
of any motor vehicle of the pleasure car type , and all vehicles powered
by electricity , shall be $59.00, and the biennial fee shall be
