Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to exempt the Vermont state housing authority and other public housing authorities from the $10.00 fee for conducting criminal history record checks.
AN ACT RELATING TO AN EXEMPTION FROM CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK FEES FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITIES
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. 20 V.S.A. § 2063(b)(4) is added to read:
(4) Requests made by the Vermont state housing authority and other public housing authorities as defined by 24 V.S.A. § 4002 which are authorized to obtain records pursuant to 24 V.S.A. § 4010(c).
