Subject: Highways; classification; U.S. Route 5; Norwich; class 1 town highway
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to reclassify a portion of U.S. Route 5 in the town of Norwich from a state highway to a class 1 town highway.
AN ACT RELATING TO RECLASSIFYING A PORTION OF U.S. ROUTE 5 IN NORWICH AS A CLASS 1 TOWN HIGHWAY
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. U.S. ROUTE 5 IN NORWICH; RECLASSIFICATION TO
State highway U.S. Route 5 commencing at mile marker 1.411 in the town of Norwich at the junction of Main Street, and extending northeast 1.037 miles to mile marker 2.448 at the junction of the River Road, is reclassified as a class 1 town highway.
