Subject: Mental health; voluntary patients; discharge
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to repeal the Vermont law relating to the discharge or detention of patients who voluntarily admit themselves for inpatient psychiatric care.
AN ACT RELATING TO THE DISCHARGE OF VOLUNTARILY ADMITTED PSYCHIATRIC INPATIENTS
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. REPEAL
18 V.S.A. § 8010 (relating to the discharge or detention of voluntarily admitted psychiatric patients) is repealed.
