Subject: Conservation; Grand Isle cemetery
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to provide that the Grand Isle Cemetery Commission may accept a donation of three acres of land adjacent to the existing cemetery without having to obtain an Act 250 permit or a wastewater and water supply permit.
AN ACT RELATING TO A PERMIT EXEMPTION FOR GRAND ISLE CEMETERY
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. GRAND ISLE CEMETERY PERMIT EXEMPTION
The Grand Isle cemetery commission may accept a donation of three acres of land adjacent to the existing cemetery without the commission or the donor having to obtain a land use permit under 10 V.S.A. chapter 151 or a wastewater and water supply permit under 10 V.S.A. chapter 64, provided that the land is used exclusively for cemetery purposes.
