Wine storage; shipping; license
This act authorizes the liquor control board to issue a license for the storage and transport of vinous beverages to a person who operates a climate-controlled storage facility in which vinous beverages owned by other persons are stored for a fee. A licensed vinous beverage storage facility would be allowed to accept shipment of vinous beverage from any licensed in-state or out-of-state vinous beverage manufacturer that has a consumer shipping license in Vermont. Vinous beverages stored at a licensed vinous beverage storage facility may be transported only for shipment to the owner of the beverage or to another licensed vinous beverage storage facility. A person granted a vinous beverage storage facility license may not sell or resell any vinous beverages stored at the facility. The fee for a vinous beverage storage facility license is $200.00 per year.
