ACT NO. 44
Vermont National Guard; employment protection
This act assures that a member of the Vermont National Guard is entitled to a paid or unpaid leave of absence from work for a total of 15 days a year for military obligation. A National Guard member who is a permanent employee is entitled to return to work with no loss of status, accrued seniority, or benefits.
