Subject: Crimes; perjury; competency of perjurer as witness
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to repeal existing law that makes a person who has a perjury conviction incompetent to testify as a witness in court.
AN ACT RELATING TO THE COMPETENCY OF A PERJURER AS A WITNESS
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. REPEAL
13 V.S.A. § 2907 (competency of perjurer as witness) is repealed.
