Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to require nurses in the Vermont state hospital to meet the same standards as nurses in other facilities by repealing 26 V.S.A. § 1583(6), which exempts the work and duties of psychiatric technicians and other care attendants employed at the Vermont state hospital from the regulation of nursing practice.
