Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to eliminate the commission on juvenile justice.
AN ACT RELATING TO THE ELIMINATION OF THE COMMISSION ON JUVENILE JUSTICE
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. REPEAL
3 V.S.A. § 3085c (commission on juvenile justice) is repealed.
Sec. 2. 33 V.S.A. § 5562(a) is amended to read:

reporting directly to the secretary of the agency of human services, who shall
have the responsibility and authority to monitor and coordinate all state and
participating regional and local programs that deal with juvenile justice
