Subject: Appropriation; town lines; survey costs
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to appropriate funds to the towns of Burke and Kirby for the purpose of conducting a survey of a portion of the boundary between the two towns.
AN ACT RELATING TO AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SURVEY OF A PORTION OF THE BURKE AND KIRBY TOWN LINES
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. APPROPRIATION; TOWN LINE SURVEY; BURKE AND
There is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2005 to the towns of Burke and Kirby the amount of $10,000.00, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to cover the costs of conducting a survey of a portion of the boundary between the towns. The survey shall be undertaken by a qualified surveyor retained by the selectboards of the two towns.
