Statement of purpose:  This bill proposes to require the commissioner of forests, parks and recreation to increase the number of utility hookups available in state parks, based upon a sliding scale formula that allocates more resources for these purposes to the parks with the least patronage.

AN ACT RELATING TO INCREASING THE NUMBER OF UTILITY HOOKUPS IN STATE PARKS

It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:

Sec. 1.  UTILITY HOOKUPS IN STATE PARKS

The commissioner of forests, parks and recreation shall make budgetary reallocations as necessary to increase the number of utility hookups available to the public in state parks, based upon a sliding scale formula that allocates more resources for these purposes to the parks with the least patronage.
