NO. R-215. House concurrent resolution congratulating the junior firefighters of the Tinmouth volunteer fire department.

Whereas, the Central Vermont-New Hampshire Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross organized a “Salute to Rutland County Hometown Heroes,” and
Whereas, the salute recognized individuals and organizations that have served their communities in many special and beneficial ways, and
Whereas, the winners in the Good Samaritan Youth category are the junior firefighters of the Tinmouth volunteer fire department, and
Whereas, these young individuals assist the department, as assigned, in many administrative and practical duties working at the firehouse and at fire scenes, and
Whereas, they also volunteer their time to assist the department with community projects, and
Whereas, the junior firefighters’ enthusiastic participation in the Tinmouth volunteer fire department’s operations has spurred others, especially parents and friends of the junior firefighters, to become more involved in the department’s activities, and
Whereas, the Tinmouth volunteer fire department has appreciated the junior firefighters’ public spirit and dedication which has assisted the department in innumerable ways, and
Whereas, these junior firefighters, including Josh Allen, Logan Birdsall, Dallas Carabeau, Ryan Carabeau, David Crossman, Jeff Evans, Jeremy Evans, Joshua Ford, Claudio Lewis, Nathaniel Lewis, Ethan Pratt, Wheaton Squier, Ryan White, and Jared Wood, deserve recognition for their dedicated community service, now therefore be it
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives:
That the General Assembly congratulates the junior firefighters of the Tinmouth volunteer fire department on being named the Good Samaritan Youth winners in the Central Vermont-New Hampshire Valley Chapter’s “Salute to Rutland County Hometown Heroes,” and be it further
Resolved: That the secretary of state be directed to send a copy of this resolution to the Tinmouth volunteer fire department.
