Subject: Conservation; solid waste; shelf labeling repeal
Statement of purpose: This bill proposes to repeal the law that requires retailers to label shelves that hold specified hazardous consumer products, and to provide consumers with information about alternative products.
AN ACT RELATING TO REPEALING THE SHELF LABELING LAW THAT APPLIES TO THE RETAIL SALE OF HAZARDOUS CONSUMER PRODUCTS
It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
Sec. 1. REPEAL
10 V.S.A. § 6621 (shelf labeling law regarding hazardous products) is repealed.
