NO. R-209. JOINT RESOLUTION thanking the State House cafeteria staff.

Offered by: Senator Bartlett of Lamoille County, Senator Bloomer of Rutland County, Senator Cummings of Washington County, Senator Illuzzi of Essex-Orleans County, Senator Mazza of Grand Isle County and Senator Shumlin of Windham County.

Whereas, State House regulars look forward to being greeted each legislative weekday morning by the friendly staff in the State House cafeteria, and

Whereas, given the limited time that most State House regulars can devote to lunch, they frequently dine in the State House cafeteria, and

Whereas, no matter how lengthy the lines or demanding the patrons the cafeteria staff is always ready to provide assistance with a smile, and

Whereas, the Abbey Group has performed an outstanding job as the State House Cafeteria contractor, managing the facility, renamed the Capitol Food Court, as a first-class dining establishment, and

Whereas, the cafeteria staff, under the capable leadership of Manager Steve Marinelli, work in a very professional manner, and

Whereas, special kudos and praise are extended to Head Chef Craig Locarno who has revamped the cafeteriaís menuís offerings which have skyrocketed to new culinary heights, and

Whereas, cafeteria staff Pam Bresette, Sue Ricard, and Jeff Schwartz now brighten our daily meal-time experiences, and

Whereas, the cafeteria has been the location for many special events which are always beautifully catered, and

Whereas, the cafeteria has remained open on selected Farmersí Nights to feed visitors who are attending the performances, and

Whereas, the State House cafeteria staff is to be commended for its courtesy and thoughtfulness, now therefore be it

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives:

That the General Assembly expresses its appreciation for all of the outstanding work of the State House cafeteria staff, and be it further

Resolved: That the Secretary of State be directed to send a copy of this resolution to the Abbey Group, Manager Steve Marinelli, Head Chef Craig Locarno, and to each member of the cafeteria staff.
