NO. R-96. JOINT RESOLUTION authorizing the Vermont Principalsí Association and the state board of education to jointly use the State House.

Whereas, the Vermont Principalsí Association is a professional organization comprised of the stateís individual school administrators, and
Whereas, the associationís primary roles include conducting professional development seminars and the governance of student extracurricular activities, and
Whereas, the State Board of Education supervises the entire system of public elementary and secondary education in Vermont, and
Whereas, joint forums involving these two important educational organizations are worthy endeavors, now therefore be it
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives:
That the General Assembly authorizes the Vermont Principalsí Association and the state board of education to jointly use the meeting facilities of the State House on Tuesday, September 18, including both the House and Senate chambers, rooms 10 and 11, and any required committee rooms, and be it further
Resolved: That the Secretary of State be directed to send a copy of this resolution to David Wolk, Commissioner of Education, and to Scott Blanchard, Executive Director of the Vermont Principalsí Association.
