Clarification of and Minor Alterations to the Election Laws
This act clarifies, updates, and makes minor alterations to the election laws. Among other things, it increases the penalties for voter fraud, gives the presiding officer authority to control the placement of signs on the property of the polling place, and clarifies that the secretary of state may reject a certificate of organization if the political name is not substantially different from the name of any other organized political party.
