Brattleboro Retreat; Release of State Lien; Authority to Sell

This act releases all state liens in real property on the Brattleboro Retreat imposed in connection with appropriations made to the Retreat prior to 1910. This act also establishes the Retreat’s authority to sell any of its real property without the prior consent of the general assembly and approves, retroactive to January 1, 1961, any sales that occurred without such approval.

Effective Date: February 28, 2001 (Retroactive to January 1, 1961)
