Whereas, this outstanding musical troupe’s orchestration was subsequently augmented by the rich saxophone tones of Olin Turner, and, more recently, guitarist Jonathan Stapleton has become a regular member of this fine ensemble, and

Whereas, the Pea Pickers are perhaps best know for their hilarious “Haw Hee Show”, which is their very special parody of the Hee-Haw television program, and

Whereas, the Pea Pickers have entertained the state’s solons at a Farmer’s Night concert, repeatedly regaled audiences at Grange Halls, senior citizen centers and the Women of the Masonic Temple’s Order of the Eastern Star, and

Whereas, the Pea Pickers have recorded their music for others to enjoy at home, and

Whereas, the Pea Pickers are a much cherished and admired community organization dedicated to assisting charitable institutions and brightening the lives of senior citizens in the Upper Valley, now therefore be it

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives:

That the General Assembly extends its congratulations to the Pea Pickers as they celebrate 35 years of wonderful music making and a dedication to public service, and be it further
