ACT NO. 102


Aggravated Operation of a Motor Vehicle Without Consent of Owner

This act establishes the crime of aggravated operation of a motor vehicle without the consent of the owner. This crime is committed if a person, without the consent of the owner, knowingly takes, obtains, operates, uses or continues to operate the motor vehicle of another, and commits any one of the other acts listed in the section.

The act also provides that the penalty for aggravated operation without the consent of the owner shall be imprisonment for not more than two years or a fine of

not more that $1,000.00, or both.
