ACT NO. 19


Prohibition of Discrimination on the Basis of Age,

Religion or Disability in Labor

This act clarifies that employers and employee organizations are prohibited from discriminating against employees on the basis of age, religion or disability. This act also provides for both compensatory and punitive damages for a violation of the subchapter of Title 21 relating to Fair Employment Practices.

Effective Date: July 1, 1999
