Whereas, civic education is acquired through both academic and participatory activities, and
Whereas, the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Vermont has instilled in thousands of young women an interest in the legislative and political process through its continuing sponsorship of Green Mountain Girls State, and
Whereas, this outstanding educational endeavor serves as a worthwhile and memorable experience for all of the participants, now therefore be it
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives:
That the Sergeant at Arms shall make available the chambers of the State House to the Green Mountain Girls State Program on Tuesday evening, June 17, Wednesday, June 18 for the entire day, and on Thursday, June 19, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and
