NO. 6. AN ACT RELATING TO THE CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF A RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY TO THE TOWN OF SWANTON.

It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:

Sec. 1. CONVEYANCE OF RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM STATE TO TOWN OF SWANTON

Upon receiving satisfactory evidence of release of the leasehold interest of the Lamoille Valley Railroad Company, the secretary of transportation, as agent for the state, is authorized to convey to the town of Swanton a portion of the right-of-way of the former Central Vermont Railway St. Armand subdivision, extending from the northerly right-of-way line of the former St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County Railroad thence northerly a distance of approximately 0.266 miles to the southerly right-of-way line of Vermont Route 78, part of the land and premises conveyed by December 7, 1973 quit-claim deed of the St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County Railroad to the Vermont Transportation Authority, which deed is recorded in the town of Swanton land records at

book 81, pages 368-369, having been received for record on April 28, 1975.

Sec. 2. This act shall take effect from passage.
