ACT NO. 3
Snowmobiles; Registration; Reciprocity
This act adds the definition of "public land" to the snowmobile law by stating it is "all land that is either owned or controlled by a local, state, or federal body." This act removes the registration reciprocity requirement for the operation of snowmobiles in Vermont. Additionally, the act allows the commissioner of motor vehicles to grant registration reciprocity without it being contingent upon reciprocity being granted to Vermont registrants in other states and provinces.
