ACT NO. 23
Fish and wildlife; fish; Lake Champlain; Reciprocal Fishing License Agreement
This act authorizes the establishment of a reciprocal fishing license agreement between Vermont and New York which would allow a holder of a fishing license in either state to fish in the main body of Lake Champlain; directs the commissioner of fish and wildlife to negotiation a reciprocal fishing license agreement with New York and to report on losses to the fish and wildlife fund due to this act; directs the Secretary of the Agency of Natural Resources to report annually on the effect of this act on the revenues of the state; and repeals the act on January 1, 2008.
